B2B Event

In its sixth edition, Destination Africa is an annual B2B sourcing exhibition of the Textile , Apparels and the Home Textiles, bringing together international buyers from the USA and Europe to meet African vendors in the hub of Africa trade: Cairo, Egypt. This year’s event will take place 19, 20 November 2022.
Established in 2016, Destination Africa enjoyed major success in its first three editions, most recently where more than 250 international buyers from prominent worldwide brands attended and more than 106 skilled African manufacturers exhibited their garments. The specialized industry event is set to shed a spotlight on Africa’s skills and resources and connect the every growing network of professionals in the textiles and garments industry worldwide, and ultimately help African countries compete in an ever-expanding global economy.

African manufacturers come from across the continent – from Egypt to South Africa; Lesotho to Tunisia; Morocco to Zimbabwe; Kenya to Tanzania and more. Displaying the craftsmanship, talent and artistry that goes into transforming fabrics into apparel, the manufacturers exhibit their work to American and European specialized buyers and decision makers. The first two days are dedicated to the sourcing exhibition; the third day is an international conference.

The event was established to support the growth and development of the textile industry in Africa and highlight the region’s economic opportunities.
